All Nanna's Kids Closet is a nonprofit located in St. Louis, MO that provide warmth to children. This year's goal is to have 30 plus volunteers giving away over 1000 warm items. This event impacts the St. Louis community and will be held, Sat. Nov 2nd at The Core Collective at Saint Vincent, located at 7401 Florissant Rd, St. Louis, MO. We host a free coat giveaway where we provide coats, hoodies, hats, gloves and socks to children infant to high school. Our day begins at 8am to set up at the designated location. Our giveaway begins at 10am and ends at 2pm. We provide shifts in 2 hour time slots in order to ensure the day is covered. We also have free hair cuts, a nail station for girls, cartoon character visit for a few hours, free popcorn and free cotton candy. There is a lot to set up, giveaway and break down. Donuts are provided for the morning shift and lunch is provided at noon for the later shift. This event is free and open to the public. All children from all areas of St. Louis is invited. Mission Statement
We believe that all children should live a normal a life as possible, families should be productive in their communities, and the homeless communities should be provided warmth through our coat program. Our closet provide coats, hoodies, hats and gloves to children infant to high school for free in disadvantaged and challenging communities in Missouri and St. Clair County, IL. Coats will not only keep them warm, but more importantly, instill in them that they are just as important as anyone else regardless of their situation or environment.
Description
All Nanna's Kids Closet, founded in 2018 is a 501c3 organization that provide coats, hoodies, hats and gloves to children infant to high school. We are committed to serving families with children, schools, daycares, shelters and any child who need a coat. We deliver coats and host coat giveaways from Oct - March each year. Since 2018 we have given away over 6000 coats, hats and gloves to children; which is approximately 600 families served. We are compassionate in our giving and connected to the communities that we impact. We do not discriminate, a need is a need. No child should know how it feels to go without a coat during the winter months. Volunteers are always welcome to help at our coat giveaways.
