Cleveland FRESHEST Nonprofit, Food Strong is coordinating monthly volunteer events at the awesome Food Strong Learning Garden located across from the Coit Road Farmers' Market at 15000 Woodworth Avenue Cleveland, OH 44110, every 1st Saturday of the month. 9am-12pm. We are cleaning/repairing the Market, building and maintaining our urban farm, cleaning up the neighborhood, sprucing up our Learning Garden, and engaging the community. We have a lot of fun! Food Strong was launched in 2018. We offer numerous programs which support overall wellness and community development.
- School/community garden construction and programming
- Food Strong Youth Learning Garden at the Coit Road Market's Urban Farm
- Volunteer community cleanups
- Care Strong Project (health screenings/resources/education)
- Care-A-Van (wraparound resources, health screenings, food education, the arts)
- Youth Entrepreneurship
- Healthy cooking classes
