ORGANIZATION: Project CURE

The Kits Intern/Long-Term Volunteer provides crucial support to the Kits Director by conducting market research
and outreach to prospective partners and donors. They coordinate kits events across all seven states where the
organization operates, order supplies, organize volunteers for kits events, and follow up after events to provide
feedback and impact reports to the Kits Director. The role requires a high degree of organization, attention to
detail, self-motivation, confidence, and professionalism in appearance and behavior.
Responsibilities and Duties:
* Provide support to the Kits Director in various tasks and projects.
* Conduct market research and outreach to prospective partners and donors.
* Coordinate Kits for Kids events in all seven states.
* Order supplies for kits and manage inventory.
* Organize and supervise volunteers for kits events.
* Follow up after events and provide the Kits Director with feedback and impact reports.
* Supervise and respond to inquiries from Kits for Kids volunteers.
* Recruit for vacant positions within the department.
* Ensure all incoming kits are properly checked and prepared for shipping.
* Communicate shortages of kit supplies to the Kits Director and procure items from the sort center.
* Host Kits for Kids events and seek out new program participants.
* Communicate challenges and needs of the Kits for Kids area to the Kits Director.
* Always maintain a clean and safe work environment.
* Report any injuries, accidents, or potentially hazardous situations immediately to the supervisor. If a
direct supervisor is not immediately available, report to any Project C.U.R.E. staff member.
Qualifications:
* Basic knowledge of computer and email technology.
* Strong leadership, people, and listening skills to empower Kits for Kids volunteers.
* Willingness and ability to train volunteers.
* Excellent customer service skills.
* Previous Kits for Kids experience is a plus.
* Attention to detail is essential.
* Ability to work well with youth.
Commitment Expected:
* 5+ hours per week preferred
