We strengthen families through a two-generation approach to education. With our free classes, low-income parents in New York City develop the literacy and language skills they need to succeed in today's world. Our research-based curriculum also incorporates child development and parenting support to help parents boost their children's early reading, school readiness, and social-emotional growth.


Reading Partners provide reading help for parents of young children and other adults to help adults achieve their reading goals to feel more comfortable reading with their children. Literacy Partners is looking for compassionate Volunteers to help us strengthen and expand our online adult education programs. Come join us!

Description

Parents are children’s first and most important teachers. By helping parents expand their literacy and language skills, and their knowledge of child development, we are making sure that children have as strong a start in life as possible.
