Project Proposal: Mobile Application for Community Reporting and Resources

Objective: Develop a mobile application to enable easy reporting of violence incidents, provide educational resources, and connect users with support services.

Features to Include:

  1. Incident Reporting:
    • Allow users to report incidents of violence anonymously or with their identity.
    • Include geolocation tagging for precise incident location.
    • Enable photo and video uploads to support reports.
  2. Resource Directory:
    • Provide a directory of local support services (e.g., shelters, counseling centers).
    • Include contact information and directions.
  3. Educational Content:
    • Offer articles, videos, and infographics about rights, preventing violence, and support options.
    • Include push notifications for new content and updates.
  4. Emergency Contacts:

We are Future Leaders Initiative SL, committed to ending violence against children, women, and girls in Sierra Leone through advocacy, media, and technology. Founded by Ibrahim S. Bangura, a survivor of violence, our mission ensures the welfare of every vulnerable child.

Our Story: Ibrahim S. Bangura’s experiences inspired FLI-SL to break the cycle of violence and protect future generations.

Our Purpose: To end violence against children, women, and girls, focusing on transforming lives in learning environments across Sierra Leone.

Our Commitment: Non-political and non-profit, we uplift lives and inspire change through:
