Job Summary

The Grant Application Administrator is responsible for managing the grant application process from identification to submission. This role involves researching potential funding opportunities, preparing grant proposals, and coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate submissions. Responsibilities
  • Research and Identification:

    • Maintain an updated database of grant opportunities and deadlines.
  • Proposal Development:
    • Collaborate with program staff to gather necessary information for grant proposals.
    • Write compelling grant proposals, including narratives, budgets, and supporting documents.
    • Ensure compliance with grant requirements and formatting guidelines.
    • Edit and proofread grant proposals for clarity and accuracy.
  • Submission and Tracking:
    • Submit grant proposals according to deadlines and required formats.
    • Track grant application status and deadlines.
    • Maintain organized records of grant submissions and correspondence.
  • Data Management:
    • Collect and organize data for grant reporting and evaluation.
    • Prepare grant reports as required by funders.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with program staff, finance, and development teams.
    • Build relationships with grantmakers.
    • Attend grant-related conferences and workshops.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in non-profit management, public administration, or related field.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Proficiency in grant writing software and databases.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
