ORGANIZATION: SAINT STEPHENS WAY INC

  • 2 people are interested

As we strive to spread the good news of Saint Stephen's Way in its mission to shelter homeless families, we are seeking persons to assist with posting content on our Facebook page. This could be someone with an eye for photography, someone with clever writing skills, or even someone with a large group of followers eager to share good news stories. Just as John Krasinki raised our spirits during the COVID crisis with the Good News Network, our world again desparately needs to be lifted by stories of how God is working in our lives.

About SAINT STEPHENS WAY INC

Location:

2310 LIPSCOMB ST, MELBOURNE, FL 32901, US

Mission Statement

Many families with school aged children are displaced and separated due to homelessness. Saint Stephen’s Way is focused on keeping households together by providing a holistic solution in setting goals, learning skills, and accessing the services needed to build a stronger, healthier and self-sufficient family unit. Please join us in our mission to provide hope to these families in such desperate need. That same hope that is described in Romans 15:13 ~ May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Description

Saint Stephen's Way is a beacon of hope and resilience nestled in the heart of Melbourne, FL. As a compassionate non-profit organization, we have taken on the mission to address the pressing issue of homelessness, particularly among families with school-age children, in Brevard County.
At the core of our initiative stands a remarkable achievement: the construction of a 40-unit apartment building designed exclusively for homeless families. This building not only provides shelter but also serves as a symbol of community solidarity and support.
Our commitment extends far beyond just providing a roof over their heads. We believe in holistic empowerment, offering a comprehensive array of services aimed at breaking the cycle of homelessness. From educational support for children to job training and counseling for parents, we strive to equip every family member with the tools they need to rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.
