To ensure we get to know prospective volunteers, their aspirations, and goals, we disseminate information about our program and all that we have to offer. Additionally, we aim to answer any questions they may have about us.
In this interviewer position, you will play a key role in that process. You will be conducting interviews, gathering pertinent information to help us make informed decisions about potential volunteers. You will pose questions, listen attentively, and record the responses of the interviewees.

Volunteers visit newly admitted in-patients to the hospital and assist in creating a positive patient care enviroment.
Customer Service is our top priority at University Hospital at this time. The Friendly Visitor Program is a program where volunteers are recruited to offer our patients a friendly visit. Assist with any concerns or questions a newly admitted patient might have. Volunteers will confirm with the Nurse Manager on your assigned unit as to which patient(s) can have a visit. You will become familiar with various departments within the hospital, Perform errands for assigned patients within the hospital, direct all complaints to the Nurse Manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse or proper department.
