About Redeem These Ashes

Redeem These Ashes is a 501C3 nonprofit ministry that emerged from the transformative journey of former Radio Host and Pastor, Joey Krol. After years of battling with pornography, which ultimately led to his arrest for a sex crime, Krol experienced a profound transformation while incarcerated. He found redemption and healing through his faith and dedicated himself to helping others break free from the devastating effects of pornography. Today, as a changed man, our Founder ministers to men and their families who have been impacted by this pervasive sin.

Our vision is to live a society free from the grip of pornography.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to educate on the dangers of pornography, advocate for its removal, and offer hope and healing through Jesus Christ, who empowers us to live a life of freedom and purity.

How we do this:

Free Accountability App: We're developing a first-of-its-kind, free mobile app to combat pornography addiction. This removes financial barriers and empowers users to break free discreetly.

Powerful Education: Our Founder shares his powerful story at churches and events, raising awareness and equipping others to find freedom in Jesus Christ.

Hopeful Ministry: We provide ministry to fallen pastors and ministry leaders.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Volunteer WordPress Web Developer to oversee and transform our website, enhancing its functionality, design, and user experience. This role is crucial for helping us better reach and engage our audience as we fulfill our mission.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the current website to identify areas for improvement in design, functionality, and user experience.
• Implement design changes and updates to create a visually appealing and user-friendly website.
• Ensure the website is optimized for search engines (SEO) to improve visibility and reach.
• Collaborate with team members to integrate new features, including resources, event listings, and donation options.
• Maintain website security and performance, ensuring all plugins and themes are updated regularly.
• Provide training and support to staff on how to manage and update website content.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in WordPress development and design.
• Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with SEO best practices and website optimization.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Passion for the mission of Redeem These Ashes and commitment to using technology for positive impact.
