The Society of Sponsors requires a volunteer to help update website content which is hosted on Godaddy. Estimated 5 m-10 hours per month depending on your proficiency. Updates include pasting or retyping press release or articles about ship christenings, commissionings and related events. It may also require posting photos of the events. When new members join, their names would need to be added to the membership lists. Twice a year, board minutes would need to be added to the member only section. We may occassionally require updates to forms on the member only area which were developed by GoDaddy using Beaver Builder.

The Society of Sponsors of the United States Navy is composed of women who have taken part in the time honored tradition of christening a ship to be commissioned in the United States Navy, or a ship that sails with the Navy, supporting the fleet in some specific way. The Society was founded over 100 years ago.
