Use your talent and passion to sew to help hospice families who have lost a loved one. Takara Hospice provides Memory Bears to family members as part of our bereavement services. Patients’ clothing such as a favorite shirt is transformed into a huggable family keepsake.

Experienced seamstresses with at least an intermediate-advanced skill level are needed. We will provide all of the supplies and can make arrangements to drop off supplies to your home. All we need is your time and talent.

*Completion of one "practice bear" is required prior to beginning
