Volunteer to be an online monitor for sessions with student and reading tutor.

Hours vary. Many schedules to choose from.

Provide extra security for online sessions by being an extra set of ears. Simply join assigned session and listen to the session the reading tutor is having with the student.

Training provided. Must be able to pass background checks

Description

Achieve Pinal Experience Corps (APEC) an affiliate of AARP Foundation is an intergenerational, evidence-based literacy program designed to help students become proficient readers by the end of third grade. Using Reading A-Z level books our trained volunteers work one on one with students on building fluency, accuracy, and comprehension skills two days a week for the entire school year. The Achieve Pinal Experience Corps reading program partners with elementary schools throughout Pinal County.
