Are you a marketing professional or student looking to make a meaningful impact with your skills? The National Association of Long-Term Care Volunteers (NALTCV) is seeking a passionate and creative Marketing Specialist to join our team as a volunteer. About NALTCV:The NALTCV is dedicated to encouraging and supporting companion volunteers who visit individuals living in long-term care facilities. Our mission is to combat loneliness and isolation by fostering authentic relationships between volunteers and residents.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote volunteer recruitment and community engagement.
- Create compelling content for our website, social media platforms, newsletters, and other communication channels.
- Collaborate with the NALTCV team to enhance our brand presence and outreach efforts.
- Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing strategies to continuously improve our approach.
- Background in marketing, communications, or a related field (students currently pursuing a degree in marketing are encouraged to apply).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in social media management and content creation.
- Creative thinking and the ability to work independently.
- Passion for improving the lives of individuals in long-term care communities.
- Gain valuable experience in nonprofit marketing and community outreach.

Mission Statement
The National Association of Long-Term Care Volunteers (NALTCV) is a not-for-profit organization that provides training for people who volunteer in a long-term care community. In addition, the NALTCV will seek out and promote resources and programs that support the people living in long-term care communities. Many long-term care communities do not have the staff or resources to train the people that are volunteering in their community. The NALTCV will work to develop and make widely available a training package for people wanting to volunteer using input provided by professionals working in the field of long-term care. In addition to providing training for volunteers, the NALTCV will develop and make available resources for the people managing volunteers in their communities, including recruiting materials, webinars, and in-person classes.

The National Association of Long-Term Care Volunteers (NALTCV) is recognized and embraced by long-term care providers as a valuable resource for increasing community awareness and engagement through well-trained, credentialed volunteers who go on to provide meaningful support for and collaborate with professional care staff to improve the quality of life for the people living and working in long-term care communities.
Our MissionThe NALTCV’s mission is to: 1) educate a volunteer workforce that makes a positive and measurable impact on the quality of care and quality of life of the people living in long-term care communities, 2) coordinate with existing volunteer efforts that are serving in long-term care communities, 3) spotlight the value of long-term care volunteers, 4) research the efficacy of volunteers to impact both the quality of care and quality of life of the people living and working in long-term care communities.
