Do you have a passion for inspiring our youth to see themselves as future scientists & engineers?
Here at Science from Scientists, we aim to inspire students, ignite interest, and improve STEM competency by delivering exciting, informative and engaging lessons taught to 3rd-8th grade students throughout the Bay Area.
We need your help! Science from Scientists is looking for excited and passionate volunteers who are interested in STEM, education, or both! Volunteers have a variety of ways of getting involved ranging from helping our Science Educators deliver hands on lessons in classrooms or by helping at out-of-school events at libraries or at school STEM Nights.
Each volunteer will have a brief meeting with our Volunteer Coordinator to discuss where would be a good placement depending on the indiviual's unique interests!
We help schools all over the Bay Area. However, we are currently looking for volunteers who are willing to help out at schools and events in the San Jose area. We have volunteer openings as soon as December, so you can jump right in and help out!
For more information please reply here, or reach out to our Volunteer Coordinator, Rylie Lang at rlang@sciencefromscientists.org.
