Zen ith Hospice is looking for volunteers dedicated and compassionate about making a difference by providing companionship to our terminally ill patients. Zen ith volunteers conduct friendly visits with patients and help them in their daily lives by providing social visits, reading aloud, playing musical instruments, playing cards/games, watching television, caregiver relief, or just being a listening ear for them to tell their stories.
Zen ith provides all training needed to be an effective volunteer by outlining our basic policies and procedures during our onboarding process. You can be sure that once you go on your first visit, you will be prepared.
Requirements Include: Must be 18 y/o, background check, TB clearance, current driver’s license, current auto insurance, drug screening (excludes THC) (for those wishing to visit patients in person), a great attitude and a desire to make a difference.
