Did you know 2 out of 3 people will be impacted by drunk driving in their lifetime? MADD needs people like YOU who are passionate about creating safer roads in your community! As a Event Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in providing a safe space for victims to share their stories and educate impaired driving offenders about the dangers of this 100% preventable crime.

Victim Impact Panel Coordinator (Ages 18+):

  • Provide a safe space for victims to share their stories!
  • Educate participants about the dangers of impaired driving!
  • Manage on-site VIP Panels by helping with registration, set up, and clean up!

Panels are offered in the evening and travel reimbursement is available to all volunteers.

The mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) is to end drunk driving, help fight drugged driving, support the victims of these violent crimes, and prevent underage drinking.

Description

Mothers Against Drunk Driving is a National 501(c)3 not-for-profit with representation in all 50 states, Canada, Guam and Puerto Rico.

PLEASE NOTE: These positions will NOT fulfill any court ordered community service. Please contact your local MADD office for information on fulfilling your court ordered services. Thank you.

  • Must be at least 18
  • Orientation or Training
  • 1.5 - 2 hours per panel. Prefer 1-3 panels/month. Must be able to commit at least 4 panels a year. Most panels are held from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m.
