The purpose of the Outreach/Admin Volunteer position is to support the organization by enhancing PCOA’s community presence, helping with events, and maintaining effective communication with our donors and members. Volunteers in this position have the flexibility to concentrate on specific areas of interest, such as event coordination, donor relations, or administrative tasks, allowing them to contribute in ways that best align with their skills and passions.

The Outreach/Admin Volunteer helps to strengthen community engagement, improve operational efficiency, and foster positive relationships with our supporters, ultimately contributing to the overall success and mission of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities may inclue:

· Place agency events on community online calendars.

· Assistance with Events and Tabling

· Filing, Folding & stuffing acknowledgment letters, making thank you calls and writing cards, data entry, and other administrative tasks.

If you have strong communication skills, enjoy interacting with others, are organized and able to work as part of a team, and are comfortable with computers and technology, this could be the volunteer job for you!

Onboarding includes filling out an application packet, submitting to a background check, and obtaining a Level 1 fingerprint clearance card (PCOA will cover the cost). You will also meet with the Volunteer Services Program Manager and the Director of External Affairs and/or Development Director to ensure a good fit for all parties involved.
