Empower change by utilizing your professional expertise to ensure that fewer youths have to face challenges like skipped meals, gun violence, and poverty. At Season to Soar, we are committed to equipping underserved youth with the support they need to overcome these circumstances.

Lead the Marketing Committee as an unpaid, volunteer Chair and Advisory Board member, serving as the primary liaison for all Marketing and Communications matters. You will project manage marketing-related initiatives, develop committee members, and drive marketing communications strategies to help build and communicate the organization's brand.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive marketing communications strategies to enhance the organization's outreach.
  • Play a pivotal role in building and communicating the organization's brand.
  • Distribute tasks and projects among committee members.
  • Maintain the committee's project management tool Asana, consistently updating records to reflect tasks, deadlines, and responsible parties.
  • Monitor project progress, addressing delays, and obstacles.
  • Communicate committee developments, outcomes, and updates
  • Manage and respond to emails received in the committee's email account, forwarding relevant messages to team members as needed.
  • Participate in regular Board Meetings to discuss progress, strategize, and address challenges.

Time Commitment:

Estimated commitment of 2 hours per week executing projects and tasks outside of committee meetings. This position has a term length of 1 year.

Qualifications:

  • Passion for Season to Soar's mission and commitment to making a difference in underserved communities.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with an ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey information clearly and facilitate productive discussions.
  • Leadership experience, including the ability to motivate and guide a team of volunteers.
  • Experience serving in a professional marketing-related leadership role.
  • Experience in managing multiple social media platforms and creating compelling content.
