Position Overview: FLI-SL is seeking a dedicated and passionate volunteer Volunteer Coordinator to join our team. As a Volunteer Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing and organizing our volunteer program, ensuring that all volunteers are effectively integrated into our mission and activities. Key Responsibilities:

• Recruit, train, and manage volunteers to support FLI-SL’s various programs and initiatives.
• Develop and maintain a volunteer database, keeping accurate records of volunteer activities and hours.
• Match volunteers with appropriate opportunities based on their skills, interests, and availability.
• Provide ongoing support and guidance to volunteers, addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
• Organize volunteer orientation sessions and training programs.
• Recognize and celebrate the contributions of volunteers through regular communications and events.
• Evaluate the volunteer program and suggest improvements to enhance volunteer engagement and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in volunteer management or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Passion for FLI-SL’s mission and a commitment to making a difference.
• Proficiency in using volunteer management software or databases is a plus.
