Volunteers of America's Handy Person Program is looking for more handy volunteers. This program works with people who are needing accessibility and safety features added to their homes to prevent falling and other mishaps.

Volunteers can be trained and taught, or if you have a background in carpentry, construction, CAD system work or any other handy experience, all welcomed and valued. We are also in need of Occupational Therapists to do client home assessments of the safety services they may need.

Things they do:

Build Wheel Chair Ramps

Install Grab Bars

Change Lightbulbs

Other one off projects that fall under the safety standards
