Are you passionate about science, technology, engineering, or math? Do you believe in empowering the next generation of female leaders in STEM while breaking stereotypes along the way?
Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma is seeking volunteers to help with STEM focused workshops, assist with programs, events and activities and lend their skills in our STEM Lab. Volunteer anywhere in our council footprint; we cover 30 counties in Eastern Oklahoma.
Possible volunteer opportunities include:
Assisting staff and/or troop leaders with STEM activities; visit troop meetings.
Providing guidance to Troop Leaders on the best ways to earn the Girl Scout STEM badges.
Hosting STEM activities at council sponsored events, recruitments and programs.
Running a workshop in our STEM Lab at our headquarters in Tulsa.
Working with Community Partners to develop quality, badge-related programming at their facilities or
Helping with a robotics team.
