Cards2Warriors is seeking a Volunteer Coordinator who loves supporting those with chronic illness and rare disease!
Our Volunteer Coordinator will communicate with our program leaders weekly, assist new volunteers, and work with our Exec Director to update the status of each program.
This person may also screen new volunteers and help onboard them as needed.
Applicant should be organized, outgoing and personable... and must love cheering and encouraging others as most of our volunteers live with a chronic illness or rare disease and need extra support when their illness flares!
Applicant must be comfortable working with spreadsheets, emailing, texting and using WhatsApp for communicating with volunteers.

Our mission is to send 100,000 cards of love + cheer to isolated illness warriors around the globe, thus providing hope and encouragement to positively affect their mental and emotional well-being as they navigate their health odyssey .
Snail mail is our jam! We facilitate the sending of cards full of hope and encouragement to patients (we call them warriors;) across the USA and around the globe! We do this primarily via our cards2warriors program and the Warrior Card Swap.
Additionally, we provide virtual volunteer opportunities for employee teams, high school students across Florida, illness warriors who are seeking purpose, and kids/teens/adults who loves to color and make cards! :)
