Did you hear the news? This year, Iron Sharp is launching an essential Back to School Heart Reach initiative to distribute over 5,000 backpacks filled with school supplies to underserved 5,000 McKinney-Vento and Title 1 students in Aurora Public Schools, Cherry Creek School District, Littleton Public Schools, and Denver Public Schools.
Our goal is to not just provide backpacks, but to also offer these students and their families valuable resources in health, safety, education, financial literacy, and more. We’ll be working with community partners to create an enriching and supportive environment for everyone involved.
On July 30th, we need help giving away backpacks and school supplies to our high need youth. These events have many community partners, vendors, food trucks, and activities, so we also need your help supporting the event logistics and making the day a wonderful experience for the children and their families.
Important! On July 30th, we will have events happening at 2 separate locations. One event will be at Lansing Elementary School and the other at East Middle School. Your location will be assigned and communicated when you sign up through our internal system.
Come help us bring much needed resources to youth in our community!

Past efforts include the Faith & Blue Weekend which provided 550 coats, food, baby supplies, and hygiene packs to Lansing Elementary School and Peoria Elementary School in 2021. In 2022, Iron Sharp Community Foundation provided over 1000 backpacks, school supply kits, and other critical resources to high risk Aurora Public School (APS) students.
