Dancing For Our Stars 'Imagine' Annual Gala

The 2023 DFOS "Imagine" Gala will benefit the comprehensive and extraordinary care of MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women's Hosptial, and feature dancers from the community who either have been personally touched by the hospitals care or wish to support the hospital's care in our community. Each dancer will partner with a professional dancer or significant other to choreograph and perform and original dance to an upbeat, popular song from their favorite era. Attendees will have an opportunity to support their favorite dancer(s) by "voting with their dollars" before and during the event as dancers vie for the coveted DFOS Champion Crystal Award. The delegated and incorporated mission of MemorialCare Memorial Medical Center Foundation is to provide "that extra measure of care" for patients served by MemorialCare Long Beach Medical Center and Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach through the development of philanthropic gifts, grants and bequests and administration of charitable trusts, life income funds, and donor advised funds.
Description
MemorialCare Memorial Medical Center Foundation produces several annual fundraising events that support the different departments at MemorialCare Miller Children's & Women's Hospital Long Beach and Long Beach Medical Center. These events range from our annual black tie gala and bike tour, to two signature golf tournaments, and together raise over two million dollars a year for the hospitals.
