ORGANIZATION: Circle of Care, St. Louis

Circle of Care is a nonprofit organization that advocates for the elderly and adults with disabilities.

The Youth Advisory Board will be a group of teens between the ages of 14-18 that will meet once or twice (4-10 hours) a month to:

  • Contribute ideas to support seniors and adults with disabilities

  • Assist in the planning, developing, and advertising programs

  • Participant in community events

  • Work with other local teens

This program was created for civic-minded young adults who embrace opportunities to improve the lives of residents and strengthen their community. The team advisory board will meet monthly during the school year, and be invited to participate in and help create 4 service projects a year.

  • Get an introduction to the nonprofit sector

  • Aid in the cultivation of a strong resume

  • Help your local community
