Whether you’re looking to fill some spare time, meet people, gain new skills, or make a lasting tangible difference in the community, you’ll be able to experience first-hand what it’s like to be a Core Volunteer with Habitat for Humanity.
During this special week we will host several events to find out if Habitat's Core Volunteer Program is right for you. These include designated volunteer days at our ReStores where you can volunteer in a position of your choice (positions include Cashiering, Floor and Customer Service, Dock Assistanceand more!).
What is a Habitat Core Volunteer?
A Habitat Core Volunteer is literally just that: the "core" that's essential to fulfilling our mission. Core Volunteers dedicate 16-20 hours per month to their role in the ReStores, Construction sites, and/or Administrative roles.
What are Habitat Metro Denver ReStores?
ReStores sell donated building materials, appliances and furniture, and 100 percent of the proceeds go towards building and preserving affordable homeownership in Denver.
Register for an Explore the Core day here, and find out how you can be part of this special group of people who are critical to Habitat’s work.
