Want to volunteer with a small group for less than 1.5 hours? Grocery Gleaning is a great way to spend your morning making a big impact. ProduceGood partners with grocers in Encinitas, Carlsbad, Carmel Valley and Escondido to sort their excess produce that's still perfectly edible, and connect it with a feeding partner in the area.

Description

We're a food recovery organization but not a traditional one. We go to the source of surplus produce - backyard orchards, farms, farmers' markets, and grocery stores - to recover the excess and transport it to food pantries, shelters, and other organizations that help food-insecure San Diegans. Join us!
