This volunteer position offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills and contribute to making a significant impact on individuals' lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Write clear, compelling, and engaging content for various platforms (website, blog, social media, newsletters, reports)
  • Conduct research to ensure accuracy and relevance of content
  • Collaborate with the marketing & communications team to develop content strategies that align with Empowered Future’s goals
  • Edit and proofread content to ensure high-quality standards
  • Stay updated with current trends and best practices in content writing and digital marketing
  • Assist in the creation of multimedia content, including videos and infographics, as needed

Qualifications:

  • Resides in Canada
  • Excellent organizational, time-management and communication skills.
  • Proven experience as a content writer, copywriter, or similar role
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Strong research skills and ability to present complex information in an accessible manner
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and content management systems (CMS)
  • Creativity and the ability to think outside the box
