Sisters In Med, a distinguished 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to empowering underrepresented minorities in medicine, is actively seeking a Secretary Intern to join our esteemed team from July 2024 to August 2025. This remote position requires attendance at weekly/bi-weekly meetings, planned in advance to accommodate all team members, and proficiency in utilizing a computer or laptop with internet access. We are seeking a dynamic individual who embodies creativity, goal-orientation, self-motivation, diligence, and professionalism. The Secretary Intern will actively participate in at least two volunteer or community events. Additionally, responsibilities include maintaining accurate and detailed meeting minutes, coordinating meetings with Board members and external stakeholders, and crafting agendas and weekly to-do lists based on previous discussions.
