Position: Event Photographer Volunteer

Position Summary:
Are you interested in gaining photography experience while supporting and uplifting one of the most diverse nonprofit organizations in the Pacific Northwest? Volunteering as a photographer with IRCO is the place for you. With over 200 programs, IRCO always has events and activities our staff would love to capture through your lens! We are seeking volunteer photographers with an eye on equity and diversity, who are self-motivated and energized to support our photography needs.
Responsibilities:

* Sign Artist Agreement and complete background check.
* Collect photos at events and other IRCO photo requests for IRCO usage.
o Coverage should include a mix of candids and action shots as well as occasional portraits, as appropriate. We want you to help tell a story through your photos!
* Work with Volunteer Team and Event Coordinator at IRCO events to ensure clients have photo releases.
* Deliver photographs to Volunteer Team at volunteer@irco.org.
o High-resolution JPEGs and original RAW files preferred. If you have time to edit and color grade your photos, that's great too!

Qualifications:

* Must have professional-quality camera and understand how to use said camera
o Please provide a sample of past photography work
* Little professional experience needed
* Experience working with immigrant and refugee populations preferred
* Multilingual experience/knowledge preferred

Requirements:

* Must be 18 or older
* Must pass background check
* Must sign-up for a minimum of six events a year
