The Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk brings our community together. It unites families with bleeding disorders and chapters with family, friends, neighbors and coworkers to support important programs and services to help people with hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, and other rare bleeding disorders in our community.
We need your help! On Saturday, September 21 2024, nearly 350 runners, walkers, and cornhole players will join us for our annual Run for Their Lives 5K, Unite for Bleeding Disorders Walk, and Annual Cornhole Tournament at the North Park Swimming Pool in Allison Park, PA. Participants will run and walk to raise critical funds and awareness for the bleeding disorders community.
Volunteers are needed to assist with set-up and clean-up, check in the participants, manage the parking lot, hand out t-shirts and give away bags, hand out water, manage food giveaways, and sell tickets to the raffle.

Description
WPCNHF is part of a larger umbrella organization - National Hemophilia Foundation (NHF). Established in 1948, NHF is the premier organization in the U.S. serving the bleeding and clotting disorders community. For sixty years, NHF continues to be a vital resource for prevention education and provides a network of support for the estimated 3 million Americans living with bleeding disorders and their families.
At our local chapter, WPCNHF assists families and individuals through a variety of programs and services including peer support groups, emergency financial assistance, advocacy, support for summer camps and educational programs to stay informed.
