We are looking for volunteers to help clean up our Detroit campus, home to young men aging out of the foster care system, and youth in Metro Detroit experiencing homelessness and mental health crises. Our campus clean up projects are a great opportunity to roll up your sleeves in support of Detroit’s vulnerable populations!
Here’s What You Need to Know:
- Date: Friday, June 21 st, 2024
- Time: 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
- Lunch will be provided
- Location: 20703 Pembroke, Detroit, MI 48219
- Types of projects: landscaping: weeding, mulching, trimming, etc., planting flowers, mowing, deep cleaning
- What will be provided: water bottles, sports drinks, snacks, lunch, MCHS t-shirts

Description
Methodist Children’s Home Society is a private, non-profit, non-sectarian childcare agency. MCHS responds to the needs of abused and neglected children in Michigan by providing an array of housing, educational, clinical and therapeutic services. We provide four types of programs: residential care, foster care, adoption, and transitional living programs. MCHS is located on an 80 acre campus in Redford, MI.
