About Celestial Manna
Celestial Manna is a faith-based 501 (c) (3) food recovery non-profit founded in 1986. Our primary mission is to help our neighbors who are food insecure. We recover food from grocery stores, restaurants and local farms that would otherwise be discarded and we share the harvest to communities affected by poverty.

The Role
Celestial Manna is in search of Business Development Interns who are eager to drive impact to the DMV community and support the growth of a local non-profit organization.

Professional development opportunities will be provided through this internship. Opportunities include networking with community partners and business professionals, hands-on experience in business development and contributing to the organization’s growth. The Business Development Intern will gain substantive skills and real business experience by working closely with leadership and our volunteers.

Celestial Manna is looking for support in several areas including, but not limited to:
* Market Research & Analysis

• Supply Chain & Logistics
• Market Reserach & Analysis
• Grant Writing
• Financial Reporting (QuickBooks)

Qualifications
* Current student in High School going into their Junior or Senior year
* OR student enrolled in an accredited college or university
* Manage a variety of projects simultaneously and have strong organization skills, work ethic and the ability to pay close attention to detail
* Able to work independently and as a team member
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and web-based applications including Google Suite.
* QuickBooks knowledge preferred for those interested in Financial Reporting
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Passion for driving positive change
* Faith-based is a plus!

Duration of Work: Flexible Scheduling. Internship duration can vary.

Location: Remote with the opportunity to attend organization events.

Compensation: This is an unpaid internship opportunity and is strictly volunteer based. Applicants may receive credit for service completed through their school program.
