  • Stay Connected: Work closely with us to track the puppy’s progress and participate in regular puppy classes.

  • Ensure Wellness:Provide food, veterinary careand age-appropriate socialization.

  • Keep Active: Supervise their activities and use a leash. Consider bringing your puppy to work, if permitted.

  • Celebrate the Journey: Celebrate the incredible journey together,as the puppyreturns to our training center and starts professional service dog training.

There are approximately 64 million Americans living with a disability. Canine Companions is a national non-profit organization that provides expertly trained service dogs and a lifetime of follow-up services - completely free of charge - to children, adults and veterans with disabilities so they can lead lives with greater independence.

Headquartered in Santa Rosa, CA, Canine Companions is the largest non-profit provider of service dogs, and is recognized worldwide for the excellence of its dogs, and the quality and longevity of the matches it makes between dogs and people.
