Mission Statement
Koenig Childhood Cancer Foundation's is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in New York City with a mission to focus on and support both the children diagnosed with cancer and their families, financially and emotionally. We essentially "adopt" the child and their families, and in doing so, we bring them into the KCCF Family and support their direct and indirect challenges as our budget allows. We handle many of their needs such as medical payments not covered by insurance, travel and housing-related expenses and emotional support such as birthdays and other events. Vision Statement: We heal the emotional and financial wounds of childhood cancer. Mission Statement: To build a child-led community of healing that individualizes support to families fighting childhood cancer. We’re there from diagnosis to beyond remission, because the financial and emotional burden of illness lingers even if cancer itself does not.
