Explore the plant world with us at Fit and Food Connection and Seed St Louis. Dive into hands-on activities like cultivating, harvesting, and preparing produce for local pantries. Get involved in lawn care, weeding, and planting, and gain insights from a composting lesson. Dress in dirt-friendly attire for this educational journey. We will be at different gardens around town so this will be fun!

Mission Statement
We create volunteer opportunities to address community needs and to inspire youth for a lifetime commitment to service.
Description
YVC projects engage youth in team-based service experiences in partnership with local non-profit agencies. Our mission is to inspire a lifetime ethic of volunteerism in today's youth, tomorrow's leaders. Each service project begins with an icebreaker activity and ends with a hands-on service lesson and reflection activity on that day's work. Shauna Gholston is the program director for YVC St. Louis and can be reached through email, call or text: sgholston@yvc.org / 314-650-6230. We look forward to working with you!
