Are you passionate about gardening and eager to make a difference in your community? We're looking for dedicated volunteers to help us grow fresh produce to supplement our food shelf. We're excited to announce that we have 14 gardening plots still available, each measuring 12 ft by 4.4 ft.
Here’s how it works:
Sign up to adopt one or more plots. You will oversee the planting and maintaining of the plot throughout the growing season. Come when you can to check on your plot! Note that gardening hours are available:
- Monday- Friday: 8 am- 8 pm (Wednesday hours close at 4 pm)
- Saturday: 8 am - 4 pm
We will provide fresh soil and seeds, but you are welcome to bring your own and any additional tools you may need to boost your yield. All the produce you grow will go directly to benefit our food shelf patrons, providing them with fresh, nutritious food.
Ready to get your hands dirty and make a positive impact? If you are interested in maintaining a plot for the season, please reply to this message and we will walk you through the application process. Let's grow together and support our community!
