This is a purely volunteering role. Preferably, volunteers should be based in Lagos, Nigeria.

As a community manager, you will be expected to:

  1. Monitor and actively engage with the community across social media channels.
  2. Respond promptly to community inquiries, feedback, and concerns.
  3. Organize and strategize engagement programs within the virtual community groups.
  4. Host virtual and inperson community events to foster engagement.
  5. Collaborate with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns for community growth, including sharing the organization's updates and opportunities with the community groups.

We have had several programs in the past such as Create 1.0, Lockdown Master Class series, Create Initiative Independence Creativity challenges (CIIDCC 1.0, 2.0, 3.0, 4.0), World Youth Skill Day (WYSD 1.0, 2.0), Africa Kids Coding, Advantage Conference, Teens’ Life School Visit and Replicate.
