Public Policy Analyst/Analyst - Volunteer Opportunity
Organization: One Bread Foundation, Inc. - Nationwide NGO Combating Human Trafficking
Time Commitment: 1.5 hours minimum per week
Location: Fully remote, San Francisco Bay Area-based organization with nationwide team
Overview: We are in the fight to End Human Trafficking in our country, One Bread Foundation, Inc. exists for the sole purpose of making grants for the Rehabilitation of Children and Teens rescued from Sex Trafficking nationwide.
The Role:
Identify current or impending problems relating to child sex trafficking. Based on that research, create solutions, evaluate proposed solutions, and analyze how various policy ideas and proposals could affect the problem and suggest solutions. Study topics such as public opinion, politics, and political entities related to child trafficking legislation.
Responsibilities:
Conduct policy research and synthesize information into memos or documents for internal use.
Works with the Outreach Coordinator to develop written materials or presentations regarding public policy work.
Conducts research to use in social media or educational posts.
Involves working with the Digital and Social Media team, and the Legal team.
Assists the Director of Public Policy with research and written communications for internal and external use.

We are involved in collaborating with various organizations, including but not limited to legislators, law enforcement and rehabilitation resources such as Claire's House and New Day for Children here in the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

100% of the funds we raise online through our participation in various affiliate programs gets donated to rehabilitate teens and children rescued from sex trafficking.
