Friends Wanted - Join Our Vibrant Community!
Are you ready to make a meaningful impact and build a lasting friendship? Join us as a Community Companion at Wendell Foster and spend quality time with Greta! In this rewarding role, you'll visit our campus once a week for about an hour to spend one-on-one time with Greta, building a valuable relationship that you both cherish. Join our mission to empower people with disabilities!
Meet Greta:
Greta is a social butterfly and enjoys any kind of socializing. Greta would love someone to talk to her, tell her stories, etc.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit Wendell Foster's campus once a week for approximately one hour.
- Spend quality one-on-one time with Greta, engaging in activities you both enjoy. (Or simply hanging out and chatting together!)

Wendell Foster is a leading non-profit organization in Western Kentucky that assists individuals with disabilities of all ages. As a training, residential, and therapeutic facility, Wendell Foster offers state of the art technology and the highest caliber of services. Wendell Foster was founded in 1947 by Wendell and Edith Foster with the dream to create a brighter future for their daughter, Louise, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. Almost eighty years later, we continue to strive to achieve our founders' dream.
