All middle and high schools students in Palm Beach County!
Earn your community service hours for a truly great cause- raising pet adoptions in Palm Beach County.
How? Start your ADOPT, NEVER SHOP Campaign- composed of 2 parts:
- Volunteer in person at your local animal shelter or rescue facility for a total of 12 hours. Volunteer as many times as you need to earn your hours. When you register, we'll send a Letter of Introduction to the facility nearst you so they can expect your help. Assist them in any way they need: walking pets, assisting at pet adoption events, speaking with prospective adopting families- whatever they need. 12 volunteer hours at the facility = 12 community service hours
- Write your Pet Profile - approximately 500 words. While you're at the facility, choose a particular pet that caught your eye and tell the story of your personal shelter experience "from the heart". Include 2 pictures or a 30 second video from your phone of your "pet". When you register, we'll send you "talking points" and "tips" on how to create your Pet Profile. We'll publish the best Pet Profiles on our Youth4Animals.org Facebook page. YOU can become one of our Content Providers 8 community service hours earned per published Pet Profile

- How many community service hours you require
- Name of your school
- Your grade level

Youth4Animals.org is a volunteer hub providing volunteers to animal shelters. While helping, volunteers gain "boots on the ground" experience and learn the importance of our ADOPT, NEVER SHOP mission.
