Lighthouse Guild is looking for a motivated, passionate and forward thinking intern to work with our volunteer team to help build a social media and content marketing strategy to help the organization expand it’s audience reach.
Our ideal candidate is someone who is social media savvy and creative and thoughtful with online community building.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
* Expand Lighthouse Guild’s web and social reach through development and execution of successful social media and marketing campaigns
* Curate stories, experiences and original content
* Research, write and edit compelling marketing content for various channels, including website content, video scripts and social media platforms
* Track, measure, and analyze performance of social content and marketing campaigns to optimize and strategize results to increase engagement. Provide monthly channel metrics, results/post-campaign evaluation, social media trends, and competitive activity
* Assist in shooting and editing brand sensitive content showcasing Lighthouse Guild programs and services, experts and client testimonies
* Other duties as assigned
Requirements
* Doing or have a Bachelor’s degree Marketing or Communications or related field
* Social media maven with experience in community development across social networks (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Google Plus, Periscope, etc.) Hootsuite knowledge a plus
* Experience with Google Analytics
* Outstanding written, communication and organizational skills
* Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and/or video editing software
* Creative, proactive self-starter
* Attention to detail and problem solving skills
* Proficient with Mac OS
