If you love to read, are detail oriented and would like to volunteer behind the scenes, this volunteer opportunity is for you! Our Library needs volunteers to read print books while listening to the audio version of the same book and log any discrepancies. Training on using Windows Media Player will be provided, along with a quiet space to work on this important project.
Flexible 2-3 hour shifts are available, Monday through Friday.

Description
Braille Institute offers a variety of services to people who are blind and visually impaired, from mobility and technology training, to low vision rehabilitation and home visits, to arts and exercise classes, to a vast library of braille and audio titles for every age, and more. Each year, we help tens of thousands of people regain and maintain their independence. Thanks to generous donations, Braille Institute services are available free of charge.
