Help take care of our older adults! Set up, serve and clean up in the older adult center, lunches for an average of 80 adults daily. Assist with special occasions like birthday lunches for about 150-200 older adults once or twice a month.

Description

The Riverdale Y is a large community center with an Early Childhood program, after-school activities for children, day camps for pre-school through teens, theater companies (children, teen and adult), performing arts and film offerings, a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor pool, sports leagues, fitness classes, and a senior center and social adult day program.

  • Must be at least 14
  • Orientation or Training
  • At least once a week, from 9:.30am to 1pm.
  • Must be able to walk, hold plates of food; have steady hands to ladel soup into plates; have steady hands to pour hot water from carafe into cup. Ability to work with a diverse population; ability to work as part of the team.
