Position Title: Volunteer Graphic Artist

Organization: Veterans Memorial and Support Foundation

Duration: Voluntary, with Flexible Commitment

Overview: The Veterans Memorial and Support Organizations is seeking a talented and dedicated Volunteer Graphic Artist to contribute to our mission of supporting and advocating for veterans. As a Volunteer Graphic Artist, you will have the opportunity to utilize your skills in graphic design to create impactful visual materials that enhance our outreach efforts, raise awareness about veteran issues, and promote our organization's initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  1. Designing promotional materials such as posters, flyers, brochures, and banners for events, fundraisers, and campaigns.
  2. Creating visually appealing graphics for social media posts, website content, and email newsletters to engage our audience and increase awareness of our organization.
  3. Collaborating with the marketing and communications team to conceptualize and execute designs that align with our brand identity and messaging.
  4. Assisting in the development of visual assets for fundraising campaigns, including digital and print materials.
  5. Incorporating feedback from team members to refine designs and ensure they effectively communicate key messages and objectives.
  6. Maintaining organized files and documentation of design assets for future reference and use.
  7. Contributing creative ideas and innovative approaches to visual storytelling that resonate with our target audience and further our mission.

Qualifications:

  1. Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  2. Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creative abilities, with a focus on relevant projects such as marketing materials, branding, or advocacy campaigns.
  3. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with team members to bring concepts to life.
  4. Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics, typography, and composition.
  5. Passion for supporting veterans and a commitment to advancing their well-being and rights.
  6. Evidence of US Citizenship
