Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and passionate Videographer to join our team and help us tell the stories of our veterans and the impact of our organization's work through compelling visual content. As a Videographer, you will play a crucial role in capturing the essence of our mission and conveying it to our audience through video.

Responsibilities:

  1. Storytelling: Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to develop creative concepts for video projects that effectively communicate the mission and impact of the Veterans Memorial and Support Foundation.
  2. Filming: Capture high-quality video footage of veterans, events, programs, and initiatives organized by the organization.
  3. Editing: Edit raw footage into polished, engaging videos that align with the organization's brand and messaging. This includes adding music, sound effects, graphics, and other elements as needed.
  4. Post-Production: Manage the post-production process, including color correction, audio mastering, and exporting videos in various formats for distribution across different platforms.
  5. Equipment Management: Maintain and operate video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio recording devices, ensuring that they are in good working condition for each shoot.
  6. Story Development: Identify compelling stories within the veteran community and work closely with veterans and their families to share their experiences through video.
  7. Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure that video content aligns with organizational goals and objectives.
  8. Content Distribution: Assist in the distribution of video content across various channels, including social media, websites, and email newsletters.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs.
  • Knowledge of camera equipment, lighting techniques, and audio recording equipment.
  • Strong creative vision and storytelling skills, with the ability to conceptualize and execute engaging video content.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Passion for serving veterans and a commitment to representing their stories with dignity and respect.
  • Ability to work independently
  • Evidence of US Citizenship
