Treme Walking Tour Volunteer
ORGANIZATION: Hostelling International New Orleans
Please visit the new page to apply.
We have set up a walking tour of the oldest Black neighborhood in America! And we need volunteers to lead it!
The tour begins at the hostel on Canal Street and Rampart, and our stops include the Backstreet Cultural Museum, Petit Jazz Museum, Fatma's cafe (for lunch), and Twelfth Night for coffee!
This is a great chance to get to meet international travelers and share a historically important neighborhood with them! Both museums include a short, guided tour, and Fatma's is known for their pastries, sandwiches, and Turkish coffee.
This tour typically leaves around 10:30/11am and ends around 3:30pm.
