KALW is recruiting dedicated volunteers to help us with events and membership engagement. Long-term and short-term opportunities are available. Volunteers must be 16 years of age and older. Some opportunities require volunteers to be 21 years of age and older.
Volunteers are needed for:

  • External events (Downtown First Fridays, Stern Grove Music Festival, Cal Academy Nightlife, and many other exciting opportunities!)
  • In-house events at 220 Montgomery (Open Mic Nights, Karaoke, Town Halls, and more!)
  • Membership engagement at 500 Mansell St and 220 Montgomery (packaging thank you gifts, mailing thank you letters, and other tasks)
