Overview: The Philosopher’s Stone Community Outreach (PSCO) is seeking a motivated Volunteer HR Assistant to support our Volunteer HR Coordinator in recruiting, onboarding, and managing volunteers. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in gaining experience in human resources and nonprofit management while making a positive impact in our community.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the recruitment of volunteers through various channels, including online platforms, social media, and community outreach.
• Coordinate volunteer orientation sessions and training workshops.
• Help maintain accurate volunteer records and databases.
• Respond to volunteer inquiries and provide information about available opportunities.
• Support the Volunteer HR Coordinator in organizing appreciation events and recognition initiatives.
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including filing, data entry, and scheduling.

Qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Interest in human resources, nonprofit management, or community service.
• Willingness to learn and contribute to a positive team environment.

Time Commitment: Tuesday & Thursday, 8 hours per week.
