Help serve your neighbors by assisting at our Winchester Road Pantry! Volunteers are responsible for stocking shelves after the pantry closes, and preparing pantry for next day operations.

Volunteers will be assisting Food Bank Staff with:

  • Stocking perishable and non-perishable items.
  • Pantry clean up.
  • Standing, bending, lifting up to 30 lbs.
  • Volunteer 16 and older are welcome!

Description

In 1955, a concerned citizen named Mim Hunt began distributing food out of the basement of her home to those in need of assistance. Through the years, this small effort grew into the large-scale hunger relief organization that God’s Pantry Food Bank is today. Our mission is to reduce hunger in Kentucky through community cooperation making the best possible use of all available resources.
